Man of La Mancha
Join us via Zoom on Tuesday, April 8th, at 1:30 pm for a thought-provoking discussion with director Henry Godinez and dramaturg Phoenix Gonzalez on the topic of Northwestern University’s Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts reimagining of Man of La Mancha. Set in a detention center on the US-Mexico border, a play-within-a-play is performed, telling the tale of Don Quixote. Register here.

Myths in American History with Joyce Haworth
Join us via Zoom on Tuesday, May 13th, at 1:30 pm for a lecture on longstanding “myths” in American history and the truths behind them. Historian Joyce Haworth will explore the role of not-quite-true stories and examine why they have had such staying power. She will also give you some reliable ways to test the things you hear and get at the truth. Register here.

Tuesday Salon: A Thought Provoking Discussion Group
